Dive into Dystopia

I believe that dystopian novels are trending for two reasons. One is that they have a sense

of realism in the fact that the things in the novel could happen. The other is that some people

compare our way of living to the novels and see our lives as not so bad. The only dystopian

book that I’ve read is The Maze Runner. According to the article found on NPR, teens feel a

sense of familiarity. They can relate in some way of not being able to completely understand

what's going on around them in real life. From the trailer of Station Eleven, I can tell that it is

about a pandemic that is far worse than our COVID pandemic but somewhat similar.
